Silvestre moves to Arsenal FC

So it seems Wenger did live up to his promise and make one star signing this season. Mikael Silvestre, the ex-Red Devil had lost his first team position to Patrice Evra and also Nemanja Vidic who make the perfect centre back combination with Rio Ferdinand of MUFC. The Gunner's have a young but experienced squad, and the influx of Silvestre would only mean that there would be more defence experiece to bank upon. Wenger seemed to have quite a frail side, with the exit of famous Arsenal players like Mathieu Flamini to AC Milan and Aliaksandr Hleb leacing for Camp Nou. Even Brazil starlet of the 2002 WC, and interim captain of Arsenal Gilberto left for Greek giants, Panthanaikos. That meant Gallas would be the only player with vast international exposure on field. Hope Silvestre can do some good for the Red and White Army. Cheers!
